Al-Ayn Foundation and ELI Play together realise indoor playground in Iraq
Many children in Iraq have experienced traumatic events, such as terrorist attacks that have caused them to lose their homes and families. That is why the Al-Ayn Foundation is taking action. They have already helped more than 60,000 orphans.
Children never stop enjoying indoor play structures
What does the Al-Ayn Foundation do?
The Al-Ayn Foundation was founded in Iraq in 2006 to support and sponsor orphans. The aim is to help the future generation and to meet all their needs. These include basic necessities of life, medical care, educational support, psychological help, personal development and recreational activities. It is important that these children are cared for, develop and feel 'at home' in a safe environment.
The added value of a playground
The foundation wants all children to be able to be children again. They ensure a safe environment and development at every stage of life. The toddlers play in the toddler / soft play area of ELI Play and the children have hours of fun in the indoor play structure. For the boys ELI Play built a tough pirate indoor play structure with a climbing wall, donut glider and slide. The playground equipment for girls features an Arab city with bright colours and a kitchenette where they can play.
One year after the realisation of the project it is still possible to see the effects on a daily basis. Children have fun time and time again and a smile appears on their faces. Together with Al-Ayn, we ensure 'Every Day a Happy Day'.
